Will, I understand what you're saying. However, my post was just a simple statement...didn't mention anything else about safety, laws, weights, or urban myths...just a simple physic fact!
I agree with you, it's up to the individual to decide what is best for him/her in this very subjective issue. For me, that few less feet in stopping could be very significant.
