Why do you have to start the crv after 500mi.?

I have towed my 2013 CRV for hundreds of miles and have never had a battery go dead on me yet and I do not pull out fuses. The problem with batteries going dead on some of you is because when they wired the towing kit, they did not install the diodes to prevent your battery from getting discharged. My coach has a diode box right inside the rear end cap attached to the wire harness for towing.
