We sold our twelve-year old Saturn, set up for towing, 180,000 miles, needed several thousand dollars of repairs, etc. to Car Max. We got twice what dealers were offering for it as a trade in.
It only took about 30 minutes for them to take the car into their shop and examine it, then they offered me a check on the spot (you have to have your title in hand).
It was a good deal, and absolutely no hassle.
