Nice setup. I'm trying to figure out a way to take 5 bikes with me.

i have a short/wide thule roof top container. I have 25 gallon tote n store, it fits perfectly(empty of course) inside of the roof pod. I throw the mat and other dirty items up there. I have wide bars on the sub to carry the pod, canoe, and one bike.

When "stowing" the tank, I make sure it is sealed. When putting the tank away for a long time, I run a heavy bleach solution through it, making sure the bleachwater gets everywhere inside, let it sit for a day or so, then empty it, rinse it out, and then put it away for the season.

One of the things you do when you "Stow" the tank is seal it, AIR TIGHT, no stink at all, it is closed. no vent.

Maybe a platform on the back of the tt that you can fold and pin it out of the way while camped.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I don't have a ladder on my trailer unfortunately. I never considered the roof rack, I'll have to see about getting it up there without a ladder. When I get to check out the trailer again I'll have to see about putting it between the propane tanks and battery.

We do not make any real attempt at keeping food scraps out of the sink when doing dishes (like pre-wiping them with a paper towel into the garbage) any different than we do at home.

But I feel like even our shower's gray water stinks.

We've never done the Clorox/bleach thing with them.

I have seen folding trailers from Yakima (their model is the Rackandroll) that might be storable in the travel trailer or a cargo rack (it folds up and weighs 150 pounds), then set up to be used for towing the blue boy long distances and on the highway.

Another idea is to get a rear hitch mounted to a travel trailer, use that for a hitch mounted cargo rack with a fold-out ramp. Carry the "blue boy" on that. Then, when you need to take the carrier to the dump station, move the cargo rack from the hitch on the TT to the hitch on the SUV, dump water into the "blue boy", wheel the carrier onto the hitch rack, secure it down, then drive to a dump station.
