Just heard that Washington has banned campfires in state parks. Don't have verification it would not be surprised. We didn't have winter last year, very little snow and not normal rain fall, we could use some of the rain in the Midwest.

I hope they stop campfires in Oregon. I saw so many careless campfires last week while campin on MT Hood. It amazed me

Have been at a state campground on the Columbia River the past three nights. Statewide ban on campfires IS in effect in Washington State.

It isn't exactly cool here in the Fl. panhandle, 98 + and the apparent temp is 102-+ plus all the humidity really makes it hot..

I live in Phoenix, 105-110 but only 1-4 hour drive away and me and my 5'er are in 80-85 degree weather. Once the monsoons kick in N. Arizona should see highs in the 70's. Not too bad!

We had a wonderful long rain today along with a ground-covering of hail here in the Arizona White Mountains. Ahhhhhhh! The monsoons have begun.
