Hotel, motel, people and dogs

Children or dogs, I believe that it does go back to the parents. I have a friend with a pit bull that licks my throat (was trained not to lick face), very friendly and playful. On the other hand, my neighbour has a little terrier that comes over to my yard to do his business, when I try to send him home, hr barks and snarls to the point I'm afraid for my leg or knee. There children aren't much better behaved.
