no you are not must be from memory. I actualy failed my first one and had to redo the road test portion , still did the drive and passed that but had to come back in just for the pretrip. the issue I had was I assumed the examiners had at least 1/2 a brain and at my first tire I explaind what I am looking for and that I would be doing that at every tire. well even though I stoped and checked each tire but because I didnt say what I was looking for at each tire they said I only checked one tire. you have to say everything you are looking at. there are also things you wont have on your truck that you have to tell them you would check if you did have them, like oil pressure guages. like I said its a comercial walaround used for persoanl venhicles. also you have to have all the saftey equipment, Lighted triangles, wheel chalks and so on.
