California is a beautiful state with many natural wonders and lots for RVers to see and appreciate. I'm sure that many of the people of California are good folks too.
I pretty much don't like to spend time in ANY large cities no matter what state they are in. I've lived pretty much in rural areas and small towns all my adult life and I prefer it that way. California just has so many large cities and along with that all the goofiness that goes with them (only my opinion). And because of Hollywood types being so outspoken about how their way of life should all be the entire country's way of life, it gets very tiring.
So many folks tend to just generalize and write off the entire state, which isn't fair. On the other hand, we don't have Kansans or Iowans or Kentuckians on TV constantly telling us all how we should live. If Hollywood and California would follow suit, they might be liked much more and suffer less bashing.
