I was born and raised in Ca and left when i was 22. I hate the politics and the rules and regulations but the beauty is undeniable. I am going back because of the beauty. Lets talk about cost of living as well. Yes i will have to pay state income tax but the registration on my motorhome was $4200 in Nv and its $1600 in Ca. My pickup in Nv is $900 and my buddies similar truck is a bit over $500. Property taxes about the same in each state. Just in vehicles, motorcycles and trailers i will be saving approx $4k a year that will go back to income tax in Ca so it will balance out to some degree. Still going to keep a place in Nv though as i still consider it to be home.
