I haven't noticed the CA bashing on this site. I too was born and raised in CA. In recent years the traffic and congestion has been the biggest problem living here along with the highest cost of living in the country. It's a very poorly managed and governed state with terrible waste of resources and money. The roads, bridges, dams, etc are in terrible condition. Even with all of that, there's something here for just about everyone. We are just hours from the most beautiful mountain ranges in the country, scenic deserts, beautiful beaches, and some of the most visited cities in the country. These are just a few of the reasons why so many people come here. It's a very diverse, liberal melting pot of mixed cultures. Some love it, some hate it.
