Well, I went back to look at the comment that started this (in the Where are you NOT camping this summer thread) and it was removed. In that thread, New York, Florida, Indiana and New England were mentioned as well as California. So I'm just left to wonder about where the problem really is. People have opinions and those opinions drive how and where they spend their leisure time. I'm not sure why expressing that opinion makes you a hater, but I do understand how that makes some thin-skinned people uncomfortable.
I wasn't going to answer any of the other side comments, but there are two things that bother me about the above post, First I don't think the forum member who wrote it read the first sentence, and since when did making derogatory comments add to the discussion, which was the thrust of the original post.
I do think the time has come to say thank for your comment(mostly positive) and lets move on.
