Very misleading charts:
Let's see you navigate your dually through the streets of NYC.
One red county on your map has maybe 500-1000 people in it whereas one blue county can have over 100,000+. Let's not forget that this current president lost by 3 million votes, so that red/blue map is very skewed.
I don't believe the charts are misleading at all. And I did not interpret them for anyone. They are factual. And what they do show is that there is a very great difference and divide in people's opinions and actions depending upon where they live. That is what I was trying to show.
People in coastal states generally drive a Toyota or a Honda sedan.
People in the rest of the country generally drive a pickup.
People in larger cities generally vote Democratic.
People in more rural areas generally vote Republican
And of course, these are generalizations, but based on actual data.
So the top of Pikes Peak and the bottom of the Grand Canyon are red on your map. How many people are registered voters of those two areas?
A more accurate chart would be showing the population totals.
The majority of votes cast in elections in this country are cast as democrats.
I take it you are unfamiliar with the term "Gerrymandering".
