I try to avoid extreme cold
But here in SoCal we hit the low 30s or high 20s most winters
In class A, that is no problem, as it is just usually for a few hours overnight
The coldest real camping was in July at Mount Lassen, where the temp dropped to 31°F overnight , in canvas top metal fold up with no insulation and no heater
Ran the Coleman lantern all night to try and keep a little heat going
