I have the same problem with our 2 yr. old G-Son. He likes to play in the TT, even if we're not camping. The no no's work but still continually guard the door with my life. If a child fell out the door, bad injuries could happen. I went out and tried the step up handle, it works perfect. I could engage and disengage the handle from inside the TT. Just stick your hand throught the small slide in the screen. A child somewhat older could get out without a problem. Lift up handle and turn it around. Thanks that solved my problem, good info.
