I'd like to add one more thought to the subject. Those that have stated they've had a child to fall out the door and didn't get seriously injured, you have been blessed. I have a cousin, when she was 2-3 yrs. old, fell out of a dining chair, hit the corner of something. She had a brain injury. Went through surgery but left her with a learning disability, walks with a limp, and lost the use of her right arm and hand. She reminds me of someone that's had a stroke. Her life was totally ruined. Bumps on the head can be serious. Recommendation for bike riding is helmets to prevent head injury. Something to think about.
