Born and raised in the Chicago area. Commuted from the suburbs for years and used those roads daily in a 'car' no problem.
That said.
One day heading out with the TT for a weekend trip I decided I did not want to go around Chicago like I normally do. So I went thru downtown to shave some miles and time to pick up the road I needed. Didn't think twice about it.
What a MISTAKE! :S
I've got years of towing under my belt and can handle just about anything. Well NOT on 94! I was shocked. With the TT attached, It was like I was in the middle of a demolition derby and I was the target!
Up side of that horrific trip? Now as I travel, all the other cities I go thru feel like piece of cake to go thru with the TT!!
And so far 7 years full timing the Chicago drivers are the only ones I found to be like that. I think they were all just jealous and frustrated that they were all heading to work and I was headed for a fun time with the RV. :W
