Daily I see many drivers pulling in front of loaded dump trucks and other large trucks as traffic is coming to a stop where one lane has to merge into another (DC metro area). It's not just RVs; it's any larger vehicle. Heavy traffic or stop & go traffic seems to bring out the idiot in some drivers; like using on ramps as passing lanes in heavy traffic which is all going 65mph. They also see larger vehicles as "place holders" in traffic where they can pull in front of at the last minute because they are driving smaller, faster, and more agile vehicles. Recently I've seen loaded dump trucks bobbing and weaving (and leaning when changing lanes) through multi lane heavy traffic all going 65mph.
Last month going home from work I had someone in the lane next to me pull into my lane slowly (side-by-side) to where I had to back off or get hit. The driver clearly saw me, ignored my horn, but didn't care I was in the lane he wanted.
Monday night (raining) we were coming home from the stockyard hauling the empty stock trailer in heavy interstate traffic (cars and trucks) going 65mph and I had a car pull from the left lane about 1 car length in front of me, braking, to make the off ramp on my right.
This stuff is becoming normal here.
I was raised in Chicago metro area (family is still there) and would take that traffic over DC traffic any day of the year, especially in the winter.
