I drive as defensively as it is safe with a 7500+ lb trailer and family in the truck.
I upgraded the brakes/pads on my Tundra to towing rated hawk pads and powerstop slotted rotors. The stopping on it with the trailer brakes is fantastic. I am very impressed considering "it's only a half ton truck".
