My daughter's family bought a Jayco TT and are enjoying it ! Soon, her youngest twins will be riding 2 wheelers, but how do you haul 6 bicycles ?They have no ladder on the back. Is an add-on ladder strong enough to hold 6 ladders ?

Toss 'em all in the back of a pickup truck.. ;)I've seen 4 bike carriers, but I wouldn't put that on the back of a TT, unless it was a 2" receiver attached to the FRAME of the trailer and not just the bumper.. Even if it had a ladder, I wouldn't hang anything more than a ladder or a few folding chairs or maybe, at the most, 2 bikes... Unless you really know how it's attached to the back of the trailer... Putting bikes in front of the TV isn't always the best either.. Depending on how much it blocks off the rad..Anyway, good luck with that situation!Mitch

You can get several bicycles inside your TT - Easy in - easy out...

In the bed of the truck. On a front mount bike rack. On a rear mount bike rack. Inside the RV. All of the above.I have a truck camper and often put my bike inside with bungee cords holding it to the table to keep it upright and secure. Sometimes I put 1 or 2 kids bikes in there too. I have a bike rack that goes in the hitch on the back of the truck but sometimes it's just easier to put the bikes inside.

"Jayco TT" "no ladder on the back" You left no clue about what model or how large. There are easy ways to carry bikes inside, if there's room - fork mounts screwed to plywood (or even the bottom of a table) is one way. We used to carry 4 bikes on top of a popup, and a smaller one inside.There are clamp-on carriers which can put a couple over the hitch.

I just put ours in the back of the truck. I can get 6 adult bikes, and 3 kids bikes back there. More if needed.

All great answers above but no one addressed the add-on ladder question directly. It's important you don't go this route so it's worth clarifying. Factory installed ladders have backing in the appropriate places to carry the weight. It's unlikely you'll find appropriate backing for an add-on.

NO!

Yakima makes roof racks that you can fit 6 bikes on. Thule probably does too.
the Yakima 66" roundbar roof rack system can hold up to 6 bikes.

it would be perfect on the Expy.

Just make sure it's a custom 2" receiver that's supported by the FRAME of the trailer and not just the 4" square tube bumper...

I'll probably install the 2" receiver tube on the back. That will take care of 4 of them. The last one will have to go inside either the TT or the Expedition.

You didn't say that in your original post.. ;)

But, I'll bet all the bikes would fit down the center isle of the trailer.. Sure, makes it tough to use it while in transit.. But there you go... Roof rack on the Expedition? Just gotta watch those low clearance overpasses..

Lots of solutions.. Just gotta weigh the pros/cons with them all..

There are several roof racks that will hold 4 bikes. Most with the front wheels removed.
4 largest bikes in the roof rack and the two smaller bikes on a rear bumper hanger.

I have a rack that holds 4. Just need a receiver tube welded to the back of the TT. Probably have to upgrade the existing bumper and brackets.

Short term, the 2 smallest will fit inside.

I carry 4 bikes over the bed with a 65" bars, but I have a few inches on the outside that are unusable due to the mounts. You may be able to squeeze 6 bikes on 78" bars, and definitively on 96" bars.

(Note, the small bike is now a regular bike..Kids grow :-( )
