I use the RVMinders (you can get them at CW). I changed one I didn't need for Fridge on 12v. It slaps on the steering wheel so when I get to my destination, I can switch it, then I slap the Propane On onto the steering wheel.
Of course, as long as my fridge is cooled, it can sit unopened for up to about 4 hours without warming up (I usually have one or two frozen blue ice packs in the freezer for a double check) - as long as it isn't 90+ outside and in the sun.
