I (well actually, the DW and I) went about things differently. We did some car/tent camping BC (before children), and then for a while when the kids were young. Now I'm retiring, so we bought a 39' fiver and a truck, and we're selling the house. We're diving into full time head first.
We're looking forward to the adventure, and I've been learning fast. We've taken a few trips this year to get acclimated, with the new year we start a new phase of our lives.
