How far is your drive for good warranty service.
Just curious here. Do you drive long or short distances for warranty or any service on your RV? Also how willing are you to tackle a difficult repair yourself?

Around 900 miles to the Tiffin factory at Red Bay, AL. Engine work at Spartanburg, SC Cummins (588 mi). I also have used the Freightliner plant at Gaffney, SC (565 mi) when we had a Freightliner Chassis issue. I'll also use La Mesa RV in Tucson when in the area. I do my own work and scheduled maintenance and will only use commercial repair facilities that I've checked out. I have been lied to numerous times, but firmly believe in "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." If I cannot watch the maintenance being done I'll only use that site in an emergency. I also check all repairs completely, no matter who does the work.
