I carry a 50' #12 extension cord just in case, and I have had to use it only a few times. For water I carry a 10', 20' and 50' hose, mainly so I don't have to use a 50' hose when a 10' one will do. Much easier to handle. Very rarely, if ever, have I used all 3 other than at home.
I only stayed at one park that only had 50A service. They loaned me an adapter at no cost. I have since bought an adapter in case the 30A socket is worn out. Haven't used it yet.
