Posting this for fun...while I fight the internet for the answer...I'm moving from one storage place to another and they need to know the true length of my TT...tip of the tounge to back of the bumper (it's a 27 ft- but that's the living area). 2001 Terry 27X...when I find the answer (or give up) I'll come back here.In the meantime, I'm curious to see what the forum has to say.(and yeah, it's in storage for the moment so I can't go measure it or find the owners manual)

AND IT EVEN HAS THE PEELED OFF FRONT LOGO/STICKER!!!!!It says the overall length is 29 feet.Clearly, I'm a bad judge of distances, but I'd swear that the tounge, battery boxes, and LP tanks amount to more than 2 feet!So, if anyone is in the mood to discuss this further- is that typical- the tongue is just 2 feet of extra length? I guess this might be true given the "pointy, aerodynamic" front end???Anyway- good evening to all...

The "number" in the model number most manufactures use seldom has anything to do with the actual length of either the "box" or the overall "bumper to ball" length. Hummm...wouldn't you have to go get it at SOME point to move it to a new storage area? That would be a good time to measure it without it costing you a trip :)

Better make sure the garage is big enough before you sign up for it. I'd measure it as well. :W

If they charge by the foot, tell them 25'. If they are just wanting to give an appropriate sized space, tell them 40'.

There was a time that the rule of thumb was to add 3' to he published footage and that would get our actual length , or close to it..The tounge is likely 30" or so with the 4" square bumper being about 2" from the rear wall...Joe
