I have a bike carrier on the ladder rack. Would easily double as a chair carrier. I locked the bike to the ladder until the DW pointed out that pulling 2 cotter pins would allow a thief to take the ladder and the bike. My reply was "Yeah, but he'd have a tough time peddling faster than I can run".
