I've got 3400+ on our Onan QD10000.
I've seen race hauler / toters home with 6-10k hours on 'em.
the question really should be - was it cared for ? oil changed (every 500 hrs or annually ?) coolant flushed ? fuel filter changed regularly ? air filter changed ?
2000 hrs in a dusty environment w/ no service could be worse than one well cared for w/ 3x the hours.
