I'd be more worried if it had 20 or 200 hours. Onan gennies love to run and are happiest when being utilized, many issues are from lack of use and not following maintenance protocols. As long as it has been properly serviced I wouldn't fret, and with only 48 hours on your current Onan it doesn't appear that it will see any heavy use.
We have nearly 800 hours of Onan run-time on our 6 year old rig as we often camp without hookups in extreme temps where running the AC or a couple of portable heaters is required, Onan just purrs along powering our entire rig as if plugged into shore power. As suggested above, run it under significant load for an hour or two as that should indicate one way or another to it's functionality.
