How many people have never drank water from the tank?

My problem with the water in the tank is because it sits there in the heat for long periods of time. We flush and sanitize the tank, but I imagine it doesn't take long for the water to turn green or slimy sitting in the tank. Yes, we have water filters, but that doesn't filter the water once it enters the tank.
