In the summer I often hook to the park and use park water.. in the winter the park I spend most of my time at the city over chlorinates and it tastes like Clorox. So I fill the tank, let it sit a bit, and that's what I use.
But then all water coming into the motor home goes through a home made activated charcoal filter (28 oz of activated charcoal pellets) and the water I drink then goes through a Britta filter, or is heated to boiling by the coffee maker or both. (Very rarely both)
