True enough. But there is recycling, and then there is recycling. I recall a sign in a Sioux City men's room 50 years ago: Please flush. Omaha needs the water!
Our well water is superb. We always take a few gallons with us. Yet just two miles south of us the well water stinks, literally. And in that same area is a very small town with a water plant. It's often rust colored right out of the tap. It's so bad our fire department has to go to another town to fill the engines and tenders.
