Basically, the easiest way to find out if your current company is charging you excessively or not, is to make a few phone calls and get a few quotes from other companies.
Keep in mind that in addition to your location, it matters whether you are full or part time, and it also matters whether the policy is actual cash value (current blue book price), agreed value, or total loss replacement.
