Just wondering why you are are reluctant to use tow haul with a 10K+ trailer? The fuel savings (if any) is going to be chump change.
Tow Haul gives a lot of advantages - among the is a cooler tranny and with my Duramax tow haul gives me grade braking also. If I'm towing, it's in T/A.
