Some have said that towing on flat ground they do not use TH in order to reduce rpm. On my 2500 Ram with 6.7 Cummins, 65 mph is 1600 rpm. It doesn't matter if it's loaded, unloaded, uphill, downhill, windy, cloudy or what station the radio is on. I recommend protecting your torque converter and use the T/H
