Because everyone is out for themselves...I see it every morning and evening during the commute to and from work. People put their signal on to change lanes or merge, and other drivers will speed up to cut them off and not let them in. It has almost become a test of wills when it comes to driving..."BY GOD I WAS IN THIS LANE FIRST!!"
People just need to take a deep breath and relax...you might get where you're going a minute later, but at least you will arrive.
