Could have been mitigating circumstances like, the Class A driver had to go pee real bad or shat his pants and wanted to get where he could remove them asap....
Or he was running late and going to lose out on that primo campsite that he stayed up until midnight 12 months earlier to book, as soon as the reservations website for the coveted campground opened for the next season. With a huge non-refundable deposit riding on him being there on time.
