My armchair quarterbacking says this is more than likely the reason the class A driver was taking the risk, foolish as it may have been. If those 8 caravaning motorhomes were traveling "at the speed limit" they probably were dropping below it occasionally.
I agree and if tightly bunched making it hard to pass. They seem to have way too many issues with Class A’s passing them. If you look at the next video up on the right side, they had another one passing them and seeming to force one of them and an oncoming car off the road!
I find it hard to believe that a rural two lane highway in Arizona only has a 55 mph speed limit.
I know I have passed other vehicles doing less than the speed limit while pulling our 5th wheel.
