If you are rving to the Q, whats the rush? I know that stretch of az. 95 n.of Quartsite very well. South of Parker it is inviting to ''push'. Its the land of 8-80 cattle- those with mouths 80' wide that graze at 8 mph.
It is also an area of many dips though desert washes that limit visibility ahead. that is why posted speed limits, while seemingly slow are there.
I defend the OP, it is not his duty to yield, or to drive at the limit yet he did yield to avert disaster.
I vote Bad on the A . great on the nb 4 wheelers that took their own lives on the line to take the sand shoulder to avert disaster.
As a professional driver, might I refresh the thought. of right of way?
Right of way is given , not taken. you are always responsible to yield it, never to take it.
