Con't matter if you agree or don't agree, once the gummit steps in and mandates licensing, you will have no choice but to comply. Best part is, it's all self inflicted.
If non commercial drivers had to do 1/10th of what I have to do to hold my CDL and all the endorsements I have... Tanker, School Bus, double, triples and air brakes and had to jump through 1/10th of the hoops and regs I do, things would be a whole lot different on the road.
It's coming, spurred on by idiots and people with no practical experience that really need to be educated or removed from the road because not only are they a danger to themselves, they are a danger to anyone else driving that may encounter them.
At least I'm already there with licensing. No worry for me.
