In the video, the driver of the C said he let off his gas when the A started passing to let him get by quicker, and then he obviously hit his brakes when the A was starting to run him off the road. The A also slowed down when it was beside the C.
From what I saw, the driver of the A was an idiot (probably still is). He ran 2 (TWO) cars off the road! Then kept going!!
I am confused why people here are Monday morning quarterbacking the C driver. But whatever.
I'm quarterbacking simply because it has happened to this same victim not once but at least twice (on video). That points to him as a contributor. In all my years of driving I've yet to be "run off the road" by anyone passing me. Maybe it's because I don't hold up traffic or when I can't help but hold them up, I pull over to let them pass.
Plenty of times I've been the other guy though, following one **** for mile after mile when passing wasn't an option while he obliviously tools along.
Insurance companies raise your rates even when you're the poor victim, always getting rear-ended. There's a reason for that even though you may be completely "right".
