I retired in September of 2008 at the age of 50. My life's goal was to retire at 45. Missed it by a couple until I felt I had enough retirement coming in. We have no debt except house payment which will be over in just a short time. Wife is 8 years younger than I and still works during school time. Hopefully she can retire in the next couple so we can travel even more.
