How rough a road will you drive down for a place to camp

With our last two TTs being fairly tall and towed with a 2wd big-block SUV, the roughest we'll travel now is logging roads of Maine but only when dry to a few locations in a friend's privately owned forest. Roughest public roads I've ever encountered are Canadian ones since the weather just destroys them and will travel them, but our tolerance may be different since we live/work in the Delaware Valley - who needs kidneys anyway!
