I think I looked at a couple of Newmar units, one was 12'10", another 13 feet. Glad to hear that 12'9" isn't a problem.
I noticed some units with optional low-profile A/C units, which would help some. Even better to move them off the roof, as they are with refrigerated trucks. I don't know why they are where they are, even with factory-installed ducted units.
