You don't want to put it in the city connection. You want to put it into the water tank fill inlet so it will sterilize the onboard tank, then run through the system. I add around 1/4 cup with a funnel. I would drain the tank 1st, add bleach. the book says to drain again and add fresh water but I just leave the bleach because we don't drink out of the tank. Maybe I'm not doing a good job of explaining my situation. There is only one way to fill the fresh water tank that I can find. And that is through the "water fill inlet". That is at a 90 degree angle with a wire mesh just inside the opening. There is no way to pour bleach into it at that angle. I cannot insert a funnel because of the wire mesh.
