So here's my follow up question regarding connecting the batteries. I just came across a video on youtube from a RV mechanic where he discusses connecting the batteries together (this forum apparently won't allow me to post the link...keeps hanging when I try to submit my comment). In the video, the guy talks about having the correct wire gauge. He mentioned most RV setups have a 6 gauge wire running to the batteries. I purchased 2 wires from auto zone that are 4 gauge.
Attached is a picture of the wire going to my battery in my RV. I can't really tell looking at the wires in my RV if they're 6 gauge or not. So now I'm not sure if I purchased the correct wire size to connect my batteries. Are the wires I purchased from auto zone too large or too small? Again, erring on the side of caution, I'd prefer to make sure all the wire sizes are correct before connecting everything.
