How to find vintage trailer for sale ?

Hi! I'm not sure if it's just the area I live in but I'm having a hard time finding any decent vintage trailers for sale. I'm looking for a canned ham or similar that doesn't need complete restoration. Most I'm finding have wood rot, leaking, major interior/exterior damage. I'm kinda at a loss here. I've searched craigslist & ebay endlessly on top of doing internet searches for my area.

I thought if I post here maybe one of you has a resource for this? I just want something with a decent exterior/interior that I can beautify . . . can't find anything. Help if you can please :-)

  • No, it's not that I don't want to restore it. I just don't want MAJOR damage to deal with. I can paint the exterior, interior, do wood stain/varnishing, I can make all the cushions myself, curtains, etc. My husband can handle a/c, plumbing & minor electrical. It's just that he would be helping me out. I don't want to buy something that's completely rotted & then expect him to deal with it.

Tin Can Tourists has classifieds. They are not allowed on RV.net. Good luck!
Tin Can Tourists are too allowed here!!!

Just not the classifieds. But classifieds are allowed on other RV forums, and there are many out there. If you haven't discovered them yet, there is a whole new world waiting for you!!!
  • If you do not want to restore a vintage camper you can buy retro new camper that looks like the old ones but everything is new.
  • Welcome to the forums.

Perhaps it is the area in which you live. Every so often there are decent CH's and vintage campers that show up on the Denver CL ads. Maybe expand your area radius of looking for your RV.
