Thank you all. I've just read Google responses also, and they reflect your opinions as well. Most say go ahead, but there are the naysayers also. The last response answered my unasked question of why there are both 2-ways and 3-ways. I've always thought electric heating elements were inferior to a flame for boiling ammonia. Thanks!
