How to prevent Keirig from freezing??
It has been suggested that we run some whisky through it. Is there a better way other than keeping it in the truck/motels for 3 day?

We had a drip coffee maker freeze one year, even though we thought we had emptied it. Personally I would put it someplace warm, unless you don't really care if it has to be replaced.
