What can I use to remove excess pro flex caulking from the alum siding on my unit

...or a plastic type putty\scraper.
Sometimes I'd put painters tape on the edge of the scraper to keep from damaging the paint.
Don't use any type of distillate chemical like I tried.
Lesson learned there.
