Combination of things....definitely run the furnace to keep the pipes warm, but set the thermostat at like 45* to minimize propane usage. Get yourself a pair of good sleeping bags. What DW and I used to do when tent camping in the mountains was to unzip both sleeping bags all the way then zip both together to form a double sided double sized sleeping bag.
Get yourself set-back t-stat so you can program it to rise the temp to 65* automatically so you don't have to get out of bed in 45* weather....
