I value my comfort. Use the dang furnace, that's what its for. Propane does not cost all that much and for me its not worth shivering over. If you have a concern about the house batteries draining then leave it plugged into the tow vehicle. Does the truck have remote start? Use it to start it in the morning and supplement the house battery.
